1. Overview
FC-TSAI-1620M is a 16-channel safety analog input module for Honeywell Safety Manager and legacy FSC SIS emergency shutdown systems. It receives analog process signals from safety transmitters, converts analog values to digital data for safety interlock logic calculation. Adopts triple modular redundant (TMR) voting architecture to meet IEC 61508 SIL3 safety integrity level. Every channel supports independent software configuration of 4–20mA or 0–10V, with full channel-to-channel and channel-backplane isolation to eliminate ground loop interference. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis detects wire break, short circuit, signal drift, module hardware fault and reports alarms to the safety controller. Rack slot mounted, supports online hot-swap maintenance without system shutdown, widely used in petrochemical, power, oil & gas ESD, F&G safety monitoring loops.
